Process improvement is a core competency of any organization that wants to survive. Process improvement is not irrelevant, out of fashion. While the "grand plan" approach to change may be inappropriate for today's fluid, transparent and hyper-responsive enterprise, orderly and well considered change is still a necessity. Employing the right 'means' to attain ever evolving 'ends' is the main management challenge.
